Contestants in their Evening Gowns
The community of Beetham Gardens packed out their community center as the Beetham Gardens Sports and Development Committee headed by Ms. Janelle Solomon and Counselor Ms.Adanna Griffith- Gordon . Janelle birthed this idea in 2019 where she wanted to host a Queen show that not only showcased the beauty of it's contestants but most importantly their intelligence about their history and community, so, she produced said show in 2020 and, due to covid 19 she was unable to host the event for 2021. Now with covid no longer impeding progress, 4 young, gifted and BLACK young ladies took to the stage and gave a performance that was like no other. These Queens were asked to pick a country for the mother land AFRICA and represent that county and it's people. After weeks of research and preparation, four countries were selected and the show was on like boil corn...
The countries represented were Ghana by Miss Jamila Lynch, Kenya by Miss Leah Mc Kenya, Botswana by Miss Janayah Armstrong, and Nigeria by Miss Jannah Lewis
